One year young

Today is my little nephew Evan's very first bithday. The  milestone
was celebrated last week while I was on vacation. Many of his gifts
seemed to have an Elmo theme, but his favorite turned out to be a
miniature drum set. I give it a week before his parents hide it.



Evan, I hate to tell you this, but this is the ONLY time
in your life that you'll be allowed to make such a mess
while eating without drawing Mommy's wrath. Live it up.



Evan displays his proficiency for making goofy noises with finger and lips.
Uncle Francis did not teach him this. I think he learned it from Grandma.
